RILEY
My journey with videography all started in 2018 when I was a junior in college. My friends and I took a trip to the Virgin Islands and I wanted to document the whole thing. I had just purchased a small camera so I brought it along with us on the trip and made a little video with all of the clips I had filmed, paired with some music. That video is where I fell in love with creating.
The rest of that year, I found myself bringing that little camera along on any other trips or important life moments I experienced. I became obsessed with the idea of storytelling and documenting my life and others, so I could look back and relive the day. I posted all of the videos I made on social media and people always loved seeing what I created.

I became obsessed with the idea of storytelling and documenting my life and others, so I could look back and relive the day.
That August, a friend of mine I had worked with at a previous job randomly messaged me and asked if I’d be open to filming her wedding that coming summer. I had never even filmed a wedding but she had seen the previous travel videos I had been posting and she trusted me. Without hesitation I said YES!
That wedding came and went and I fell in love with wedding videography. I created their wedding highlight film weeks later, posted it on social media, and from there was able to book 20 weddings for that same year, just from people seeing that video and saying “I want THAT” at my wedding.
That brings me to where we are today, years later and having done 60+ weddings. Truly, I believe I am doing exactly what I should be doing with my life right now. I feel a great deal of fulfillment when it comes to creating wedding films.

Fun Facts About Riley:
I love to travel. I’ve traveled solo to Thailand & Mexico so far, and hope to do more! On top of that I’ve been to 7 countries in Europe as well as 20 (and counting) states in the U.S. Traveling for me is where I get inspired. It allows me to look at life through a different lens, in a new environment, and experience new things!
Number 2 //
I am passionate about marketing & business. It’s what I went to college for. I really love creating brand and social media strategies for businesses, and seeing how it is able to grow their business. It’s something I see myself growing in as my life unfolds.
Number 3 //
I recently fell in love with working out. I had never really been a gym person until this past fall when I decided to make a change and hire an online fitness coach. I realized how much energy it gives me and I love pushing my body and getting stronger.
Number 4 //
I love coffee, specifically cold brew. I despise hot coffee. I actually co-owned a mobile coffee & açaí bowl camper for a year and a half. It was a lot of fun and I got a lot of experience from this venture.
